Woven nylon coil zippers, also known as polyester or nylon zippers, are highly versatile zippers due to their characteristic light weight and high strength and efficiency. They are used in a wide variety of applications, such as everyday and athletic wear, footwear, leather goods, luggage, and more, making this zipper the most widely used.
The teeth of this zipper are flexible and adjustable, thanks to their high elasticity. Another advantage of this zipper is its light weight, manufactured with a 100% polyester tape and coil, which follows the natural drape of fabrics once the garment is completed.
Using different types of processes, this zipper can be made flame retardant, waterproof, and water-repellant, among other properties.
